Reid calls House GOP "Anarchists"

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., had harsh words Thursday for Republicans in the House of Representatives who he believes are angling for a federal government shutdown.

The Republican-controlled House will vote this week on a budget proposal that would defund the implementation of the Affordable Health Care Act. The measure isn't likely to pass the Democratic-controlled Senate. And the White House said Wednesday that it wouldn't accept any delay in implementing the health care law to avoid a government shutdown.

"Republicans either don't realize the stakes or simply don't care," Reid said on the Senate floor Thursday. "They're willing to put the nation's economic recovery at risk to make an ideological point."

Reid added: "I only hope the anarchists in the House of Representatives...come to their senses before it's too late."

They are not "anarchists" Harry. This cabal of neo-confederates know exactly what they are doing. It's to decimate Medicaid in their states.
