Obama's chef may be forced to take a few days off

President Obama's aides have been tight-lipped about how the so-called sequester -- a series of across the board spending cuts -- would impact the White House.

But on Tuesday, White House Assistant Chef Sam Kass told food reporters that may be furloughed.

Kass, the president’s senior nutrition policy adviser, cooks for Obama several nights a week, plants the White House garden and is the director of the first lady's "Let's Move" campaign to curb childhood obesity.

The White House has previously said 480 workers at the Office of Management and Budget may be furloughed but has said little about others despite nearly daily questions.
