DNC secretary heads to HUD

President Barack Obama is tapping Democratic National Committee press secretary Melanie Roussell to become assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Roussell has served as the DNC national press secretary since August 2011. Before that, she served as HUD press secretary and worked on the president's campaign and on Capitol Hill.
