Small Business Administration head departs

Another week, another departure.

The head of the Small Business Administrator Karen Mills is exiting the Obama administration.

"I asked Karen to lead the Small Business Administration because I knew she had the skills and experience to help America’s small businesses recover from the worst economic crisis in generations – and that’s exactly what she’s done," President Obama said in a statement.

The president also credited Mills with making it easier for small businesses to interact with the federal government and helping pass the Small Business Jobs Act.

No word on a replacement yet.
