President Obama jetted to Georgia today to push his case for universal pre-K, but noted he'd be back at the White House in time for a Valentine's date with the first lady.
"I can't imagine a more romantic way to spend Valentine's Day than with all of you, with all the press here," Obama joked at the Decatur Community Recreation Center. "Michelle says hello. She made me promise to get back in time for our date tonight. That's important. That's important."
And he cracked a joke that scores of other presidents are likely to have used: "I've already got a gift, got the flowers," he said. "I was telling folks the flowers are a little easier, though, because I've got this Rose Garden. Lot of people keeping flowers around."
