One week to spending cut deadline, Obama urges Congress to act

In his weekly radio address, President Barack Obama urged Congress to halt automatic across-the-board spending cuts that will go into effect in a week.

Obama said he and Democrats support a "balanced"solution of cuts and revenue and encouraged Republicans to act to reduce the deficit and create jobs for the middle class.
