Obama speechwriter departs White House

Just days before President Obama delivers his first State of the Union Address of his second term, news is out that his top speechwriter is departing.

Jon Favreau, 31, will leave next march after eight years with Obama --the senator, the candidate, the president.

Favreau will be replaced by Cody Keenan who worked with Obama on his memorial speech two days after the shooting in Newtown, Conn.
