If gun control supporters wanted a large audience for its TV ad, they got it Sunday night during the Super Bowl.
The Mayors Against Illegal Guns ad shows the National Rifle Association's conficting stance on universal background checks over the years.
“Once again, the NRA’s Washington leadership showed just how out of step they are with the American public – and their own membership,” Mayors Against Illegal Guns Co-Chair and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said in a statement.
