Biden to travel to Connecticut to speak about gun violence

Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Danbury, Conn. -- just 10 miles from Newtown -- on Thursday tp push the administration's policies to combat gun violence.

Biden will deliver remarks at an event at Western Connecticut State University. He will be joined by Democratic lawmakers -- Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy and Rep. Elizabeth Esty, who represents the  district that includes Danbury and Newtown.

The event comes after a Tuesday Facebook town hall event with Biden and Parents Magazine.
