Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is leaving Foggy Bottom. But judging by the many, many comments she received Wednesday about her future lawmakers do not think she's done with politcs.
At a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing Wednesday afternoon, Rep. Eni Faleomavaega, a Democrat representing American Somoa, said he "looks forward to 2016."
"You will be sorely missed, but hopefully not for long," Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif. said at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing in the morning.
Clinton laughed and shook her head no at the comment but did not respond.
Democrats in both chambers heaped praise on her at a pair of hearings on the fatal Sept. 11 attack in Libya with many of them alluding to a possible 2016 presidential run. Even Republicans mentioned it.
"I wish the best in your future endeavors -- mostly," Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Ohio quipped.
