So you think the Senate is consumed with the fiscal cliff?
Nah, not when it's time to talk about Sen. Ben Nelson's hair.
Nelson, D-Neb., is retiring, and Monday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, offered a Senate floor tribute. He spoke of Nelson's record and his "independent spirit."
And his mop of thick hair.
"About that hair of Ben Nelson's," Reid said. "I mean, that is a mop of real hair. It's often people call his office, e-mail his office, they believe he has a toupee."
Nope, said Reid. "It's his hair. He'll pull it for you any time just to show that it's real," he said. "He has hair like a 15-year-old."
And so, the leader concluded, "I have to acknowledge I am a little envious of his hair, and I think that's the truth for now."

I'd take that as a compliment. It's not that big of a deal like most people would perceive it to be, but it's can be an issue. It looks good on him though.
