President Obama to hold a Twitter chat

President Obama will take to Twitter in a few minutes as part of his campaign to press Congress to pass tax breaks for all but the wealthiest.

Obama at 2 p.m. will answer questions on Twitter about extending the middle class tax cuts. Twitterers can ask Obama questions at #my2k.

Press Secretary Jay Carney says that in the past week, more than 300,000 Americans have tweeted or e-mailed as part of the WH campaign "to tell us what extending income tax for middle- class families means to them."

You can follow that chat at twitter.com/whitehouse.
