Mitt Romney clearly won the Wednesday debate with President Barack Obama, according to a new CNN/ORC International instant poll.
67 percent thought Romney, the Republican candidate, did the better job, while 25 percent thought Obama did.430 people who watched the debate were contacted.
In 2008, Obama was seen as a winner in his first debate against Republican John McCain. This time, Obama didn't meet expectations--61 percent said he did worse than they thought he would, while 82 percent said Romney did better.
None of this necessarily is a predictor of who might win. Here are some past results:

Obama knew exactly what he was doing in letting Romney rave on.
His non-response posture will be clarified in Round 2!

Romney proved that he was an adept debater -which is about all he proved!
Unfortunately for him, you couldn’t believe a word he said!
Romney would replace Federal Government with Government by Unregulated Corporations.
Make no mistake about it, Romney speaks for Corporations.
Obama speaks for the People.
“The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions[and intentions] of their [leaders -and aspiring leaders], may be concealed from them.”
