President Obama says he gets a "pass" from First Lady to eat burgers

President Obama returned to Petersburg, Va., Friday for the first time since the 2008 campaign -- and fondly recalled ordering his bus to pull over so he could get a cheeseburger at Longstreet's Deli.

"You guys have eaten there," Obama said to laughter at the town's Roll-Royce jet engine plant where he pushed for more incentives for manufacturing.

Obama noted that some in the audience "may think this violates" the First Lady's Let's Move program -- which promotes exercise and the eating of vegetables -- but Obama said his wife gives him "a pass when it comes to a good burger."

And, fries, he added as the audience laughed.
