Anita Perry says her hsuband, GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry, is getting hit in the campaign because of his faith.
"It's been a rough month," she told a South Carolina audience in a reference to the period where Perry stumbled through debates with his rivals, lost a straw poll of Florida Republcians, and lost his lead in national polls.
"We have been brutalized and beaten up and chewed up in the press to where I need this today. We are being brutalized by our opponents, and our own party. So much of that is, I think, they look at him because of his faith. He is the only true conservative. Well, there are some true conservatives. And they're there for good reasons. And they may feel like God called them too. But I truly feel like we are here for that purpose."

Mrs. Perry is a "victim" because the christian evangelicals find that their "special" kind of paranoia helps to recruit new members and their money!

I would like to see Mrs. Perry's list of each religon and how much of a target each religon makes a candidate in America. Does she really believe that Christianity makes you more of a target in America than any other religon? It just shows that even the most advantaged in America think they are the victims. Why exactly does Mrs. Perry think she is a victim in America?
