Update: snow snaps tree branch onto motorcade press van

UPDATE:
The same press van hit by the ambulance on the way out of the White House was hit by a branch snapped off of a tree on the way back onto the White House campus.

“The five minute drive back to the White House was eventful,” says a pool report. “As the motorcade entered East Executive Drive, a medium-size tree branch snapped under the weight of snow
and fell on top of the Chrysler Aspen transporting still photographers.

“The windshield was awash in snow and the SUV came to a quick stop. But the limb
was dragged away and pool returned to WH at 11 a.m. `It was scary,’ a photog deadpanned.

”The vehicle was the same one that was nicked by the ambulance earlier. The
ambulance left a small dent/scratch on the driver's side door.”
