With the US and Cuba scheduled to hold migration talks in Havana Friday, the wife of a detained contractor has released a video asking for her husband to be released.
"Alan has done nothing wrong and we need him home," Judy Gross says in the video, saying she's hoping US and Cuban officials will agree on a way to bring him home. The Maryland contractor has been held in a high security prison since December.
The video comes as members of the Maryland congressional delegation penned a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, asking her to use the talks to "forcefully raise the issue of the unacceptability of Mr. Gross' detention and demand his immediate release."

The wife is just as delusional as the husband. It was illegal to hand out these computers, the AID people knew it which is why they used contractors who never bothered to ask the Cubans.

Interesting that Clinton was asked to do this, when the Cuban Five were jailed for uncovering and reporting to the US - Clinton Administration, terrorist activities planned against Cuba.
This guy was in Cuba handing out cell phones and was funded by USAID - who works hand in hand with the state dept. and CIA.
Anyone can go to Cuba, and knows the law because they must sign a form. Cuba is wary of the CIA for a good reason. If the US is concerned about humanitarian and poverty issues, just lift the embargo. Don't try to undermine the government. After 100 years of this, its time to treat Cuba with a little respect.
