Obama still going to Copenhagen to talk climate

President Barack Obama still plans to go to Copenhagen tomorrow to work personally on a climate change treaty, despite reports there that he will abandon the trip due to problems in the negotiations.

“I don’t think the president was ever under any illusion that this was going to be easy,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Thursday.

Gibbs acknowledged that it will be very difficult to get an agreement as long as “countries like China” are unwilling to agree to international requirements such as transparency to assure that they’re curbing emissions.

Obama is scheduled to leave Washington tonight and spend the day Friday meeting with other leaders at the climate conference.

Between Gibbs and Obama I don't know which one is more stupid.

Why doesn't the Idiot in Chief stay at home instead of creating more pollution by flying to Copenhagen. He's creates enough by just opening his mouth.
