Traveling in Africa, America's top diplomat, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, has raised eyebrows for remarks she made about elections in Nigeria.
Clinton tried to push the message that embracing violence is never the answer, ABC News reported. But it was her reference to the disputed 2000 presidential election -- and Florida's role -- that drew attention.
"Our democracy is still evolving," ABC reported her as saying. "You know we've had all kinds of problems in some of our past elections as you might remember. In 2000, our presidential election came down to one state where the brother of the man running for president was the governor of the state, so we have our problems, too."
That former governor, Florida's Jeb Bush, told ABC he was "declining to weigh in on these ill-advised comments: "But wishes Secretary Clinton a safe and successful trip."

Liberals, like The Secretary Of State, among others, need to get over themselves.
In 2000, The Gore Campaign wanted to recount only predominantly democratic areas, if they really wanted to arrive at an impartial result,
they would have asked for a statewide recount. The Florida Supreme Court was filled with Lawton Chiles
appointees, who wanted to give the presidency to Gore, making it absolutely necessary for the U.S.Supreme Court To Step In.
Liberals control all the House and Senate and they're still not happy.

I'll weigh in on it because I have nothing to hide. They chose florida to try to steal the election because they had control of the Florida supreme court which allowed them to ignore every election law which stood in the way. If the federal court had been as imbalanced as it will be when Obama gets finished with it, Gore would've been president on 9/11. Nothing could be worse for America except to have Obama as president in such a crisis.

She's right, it's a simple observation of circumstantial evidence, that expresses sympathy for political problems on another continent.
Plus, going back a few days to that mis-translation during an African Q&A, what American woman wouldn't be outraged by someone apparently accusing her of just being a mouthpiece for her husband? Give her a break!
