Is President Barack Obama getting a little impatient with Vice President Joe Biden's sometimes longish opening remarks?
Consider this pool report from their joint appearance Friday before a group of mayors at the White House:
"POTUS (President of the United States) stood behind the right shoulder of VPOTUS (Vice president of the United States) as VPOTUS spoke.
"POTUS seemed distracted as VPOTUS spoke. At first he stood, hands clasped in front of him, rocking up on his toes, back down to his heels. Then he stopped and stood, looking down at the floor. At one point, about 4:30 minutes into Biden’s remarks, POTUS had his index finger up to his mouth, which was in a deep frown, and was staring down at the floor.
"The mayors broke into applause when VPOTUS touted the “largest economic recovery package,” POTUS didn’t immediately look up. When he did, he stood with his arms crossed."

Biden just cant help it. If he's not talking, he's not Biden.

I have noticed that the Pres appears impatient at Biden's comments.

the pres. was just half-listening and half self-absorbed meaning altho he's listening, some different other little things were in his mind, so such "reactions" may not be for what his vp was saying, altho we expect he should be all ears in undivided attention at all times to anyone's speeches (anyone includes just anyone)especially if the speech or situation is easily predictable (or pre-arranged)so it's not that bad to just half-listen sometimes. hey, he maybe a president but he's just the same human being like u & i.

I am sure that if the President were upset with the VP's remarks, or their length, that he would do one of two things: 1.) tell him to minimize the introductions or 2.) tell the VP he did not need to attend.
Who ever wrote this article obviously has too much time on his/her hands.
