House Democrat slams Bush one last time
House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers rolled out a 487-page report Tuesday, detailing what the Democratic congressman called the "numerous abuses and excesses" of top administration officials. In what may be his final jab aimed at the administration before President Bush leaves office, Conyers rehashes many of the same complaints raised by Democrats over the last eight years. The report also makes 47 recommendations for addressing them. One of the top proposals: forming a commission to investigate the administration. Administration officials, meanwhile, say they have nothing to fear because they did no wrong.
