There's not going to be any honeymoon period between House Republicans and President-elect Barack Obama.
Shortly after Obama introduced his new budget team Tuesday and discussed an economic stimulus plan, House GOP Leader John Boehner warned that with families and businesses hurting, "We should respond to these challenges not by spending more of Americans' hard-earned money and increasing their pain, but by removing barrier to their prosperity."
Boehner did praise the Obama economic team as "an experienced, qualified team of economic advisers."
But, the Ohio Republican said, "The advice of working families should be taken into account as well. Americans simply do not believe more government spending will get our economy moving again, and our hope is that the president-elect and his team will listen to them."

What? What "Main Street" families has he been talking to...oh that right...he was talking to those supposed "Main Street" families...you know the ones that forget how many houses they own...But honestly, I am one of those families, and I am ecstatic at the idea of investing in this country instead of just sending it all overseas

Wake up Boehner, Republicans lost and lost bad. Stand in the way of progress and investment into our own country vs. wars of choice and you will send you party into the waste land for a century.

China is the slow Turtle... I give the Devil his due... in China they reward corruption in high places and obstruction that will hurt the majority of people with a small piece of lead going real fast. Corruption ? Golden Parachute? I don't think so...

AAAAAH,once again the republicans are NOT interested in solving problems, abiding by laws, etc. This would require putting the PARTY thing aside and working together towards the same goal, A better America for ALL. Not just their social buddies. This PARTY nomination bull NEEDS to end. Both parties should put up at least candidates for office and the PEOPLE should nominate.NOT the PARTY. The loyalty SHOULD BE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES. NOT TO SOME LOBBIEST OR FAT CATS. Republicans, STOP crying because YOU lost and start showing American that YOU are interested in SERVING THE PEOPLE.

Even Nixon said "we're all Keynesians now", so what the heck is Boehner whining about? Don't tell me he and the rest of the GOP is planning on sabotaging any chance of an economic recovery simply to make Obama fail.
