Texas base has record number of suicides

Fort Hood, Texas, has a record number of suicides - 14, with 6 more suspected, just this year. This year the sharpest increases have been in the Army and the Marines.  [Associated Press via MSNBC]

Steve

Despite the reason for this increase is "Post traumatic syndrome" from serving in combat the U.S. will still not send the family members condolences as they do those killed in combat. This is ironically asinine because the VA does recognize PTS as an illness deserving financial awards. steve. ww2
