David Morris left the Mekong Delta in 1968, but its horror stayed in his mind, An ex-Seal, he served several years, then came back and went to college. He wasn't diagnosed until 1996, and has now written a book. [Island Packet, Hilton Head, S.C.]

I believe the VA is a bureaucracy designed to spread government propganda
to say it is here to service vets is an oxymoron

I'm just beginning the process.
I was an assistant load master (kicker)in the back of a C-130 in Vietnam.Bringing in ammo and hauling out wounded and KIA from hot landing strips. Lost two planes and two buddies to ground fire while on missions. After I got out I lived in a cabin in the mountains, then a sailboat for ten years. Went through numerous wives never getting close to anyone. Went through drugs, became a 1% biker. Finally figured out why. Now,40 years later it's all coming together. Applying for PTSD. We'll see what happens.

VA says I have to prove I was on Vietnam , they sent me to Vietnam in 1966, I have been seem by phy'-Doctors that rate my condition as PTSD yet the VA says I have to prove that I was in Combat. I can't prove it because of the way I was placed with (MACV). So ! Like many of us WE WATE
