Winding its way through the Texas legislature is a bill that will create a scratch-off lottery ticket to help veterans.
Now it faces going to the Texas Senate. The veterans community is bestirring itself to make this happen.
The proceeds will go to nursing home care, family and marital counseling. [Fort Worth Star-Telegram]
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

This is a truly wonderful and commendable gesture for the veterans. It really feels good.

This is a win/win bill. A dedicated scratch off game just like the other scratch off games except this one the proceedes (profits) go to veterans needs and assistance.
