Paraguay: The holy grail of sweeteners?

Paraguay doesn't make a lot of news. It did get attention in August when Fernando Lugo was inaugurated in a historical ceremony. Here's what I wrote.

Paraguay is back in the news, in an offbeat way. It turns out that the stevia plant in Paraguay could become a popular sweetener in the United States. The ball is now in the hands of the FDA.
