If you want to know more about Carlos Slim in 90 seconds, take a look at this video. Forbes Magazine this week listed Slim for a fourth year in a row as the world's richest man, with a fortune estimated at $73 billion. Trailing slightly is Bill Gates, the Microsoft found, at $67 billion. The two men, who were recently together here in Mexico, have some differences when it comes to philanthropy. sin verguenza ... I think everyone knows how he got his ill gotten gains in a backroom deal with one disgraced ex Mexican president. Weeks later he raised prices 300% without making improvements. It doesn't take business acumen to make a profit this way nor in the state of Telmex and Telcel today. As the LA Times reported one of the most expensive Telcom systems in the world and I might add one of the lowest in quality.
