Although this post on the painted donkeys is both sad and funny at the same time, I cannot believe you passed up the opportunity to talk about Bar Rafaeli since she's in the news. Isn't she your secret crush?
She's been in the news lately because of her 'draft dodging'.

I would think this is a hot subject with the recent harassment of New Profile, org that works with conscientious objectors in Israel (www.newprofile.org) and the growing 'schministim' movement. (www.whywerefuse.org).
These 18 year old seniors or 'schministim' seem to be more intelligent than Bar Rafaeli though (sorry Dion)with their reasons for refusing. A couple of the female conscientious objectors are touring the U.S. right now and by all reports they are very compassionate, thoughtful and articulate in their reasons for refusing whereas, what did Rafaeli say? Oh yea, "...I don't regret not enlisting, because it paid off big time. That's just the way it is; celebrities have other needs."

Haven't you read the Hamas charter? The Hamas zebras won't stop until every last jew is in the oven! They were starved in self defense from suicide zebras! Their hunger strike was just an attempt to win over liberal lawyers and NGOs.

Laughing at the Palestinians for painting a donkey with zebra stripes is like laughing at a blind man who cannot see the bus arriving at the terminal - shameless!
If the truth be known that the IDF's frenzied killers went into the Gaza City Zoo last winter in the midst of their manical killing spree in Gaza and killed many of the zoo's animals in an act of pure meaness you would understand why the Gaza City Zoo is short of exotic animals.
Perhaps, if those that laugh at the absurdities of the Palestinians and their lonely zoo had a conscience they would 'pass the hat around' and help the Gaza zoo replace the animals, the Jewish beasts killed.

It’s sad to think that a whole population, which is illegally held hostage by the Israeli army, has to paint donkeys to help its children imagine what a zebra looks like. But it's also a sign of how creative Gazans are, a far cry from the obese Israeli children and teenagers who spend their dull lives eating ice-cream in malls.

Though the intent is noble, it does not hide the essence of deceiving the children, very sad...Had there been no conflict or war, there could have been no need for such painting resolve...
