When African pirates targeted an Italian cruise ship off the coast of Somalia earlier this year, they were repelled by former Israeli military officers who were said to be the first security team to successfully fight off a pirate attack in the dangerous waters.
Now another private Israeli company has launched a new training academy to teach security teams to fight off pirates.
"We do not give up," Mirza David with the International Security Academy told CNN. "I will say it the American way: We give them an offer they can't refuse."

Apparently another factor repelling pirates now is the weather (according to http://www.newsy.com/videos/poverty_politics_and_pirates)? It's great the academy is specially training people to fight off the pirates, but how motivated can the pirates be if they're letting a little monsoon season hold them back? =P

Seems to be working from where I am, but you can also find the videos on the International Security Academy Web site.
