One of the unique features of entering Gaza from Egypt is that there is actually Hamas border control on the other side.
When people enter Gaza through the Israeli border crossing, you are stamped out of Israel, but there has never been (so long as I've been going, anyway) a Palestinian Authority border stamp when you entered Gaza.
Now, the Hamas-led government has its own Palestinian Authority entry stamp. (See above.)
As the Hamas border guards say: Welcome to Palestine.
