It is likely to be remembered as one of the most emotionally-charged moments of the Gaza conflict: An anguished Gaza doctor appeals for help on a live Israeli TV news show after his house was hit by Israeli fire, killing three of his daughters and one niece.
The Israeli reporters scrambled to help and got the doctor's family flown to Israel for emergency treatment.
As the doctor made an impassioned plea for answers the next day, an Israeli mother angrily lashed out and, knowing little about his story, accused the doctor of hiding weapons in his home.
Our story on the tale is here.

there is evidence that Hamas attacked the house. The death of the doctor's three daughters is a tragedy, but saying that they were "hit by Israeli fire" is simply not true. Place the blame where it belongs- on Hamas' shoulders.

The source of this information is the Israeli government, which isn't objective. No Hamas rockets can blow up a house.

I think the doctor would know what hit his house - he saw Israeli tanks - but Ian, you can believe the people who weren't there but think they know what happened if you want.
By the way, the IDF nearly shelled his house earlier in this conflict, and he was live on air, and the TV anchor alerted the IDF not to shoot, so that time they didn't.
This doctor had been calling in to the TV station for a while. I really admire the guy who took the call and stayed on the phone with him. I really admire the doctor too.

To Victory: just go to google images and type search for "sderot" so see pictures of hamas rocket destruction. Your comment therefore does not prove that Israel fired on the house.
To Susan: it seems from the interview that the doctor wasn't at the scene (because he says he was on the phone with his daughter and all of a sudden he heard a missile). Thus you also believe someone that wasn't there but thinks he knew what happened.
I assume that you think that the Israeli government is lying when they said that they found a ball bearing in the girl's skull (which indicates that Hamas was responsible). Otherwise, how can you blame Israel for this?

Ian, you are misinformed.
The doctor was at home, waiting to speak on the phone with Israeli TV station 10, (a scheduled call.)
The tank shells came into his living room and killed his daughters and nieces, and injured other sons and another daughter and niece.
Have not heard any reports about a ballbearing (and I live in Jerusalem). Even if these exist, It wouldn't be the first time that a government lies.
This was a shameful act.

Gosh, that woman is the first ignorant jew I have ever seen and heard.

How shamefully sad.

Wow Victory... very interesting.
Why do you suppose the Israeli military has quite clearly claimed responsibility then?

Hamas murdered these family members every bit as much as if they had pulled the triggers on them themselves. Vermin! They are followers of a violent totalitarian cult called Islam. There will be no peace in the Gaza strip until these Hamas thugs are destroyed.
