Fallujah police department in cooperation with Al Anbar intelligence managed to intersect 1.5 ton of TNT were on its way to enter Fallujah the city.
Police officers said their information came from a suspect detained last week in Ramadi, the provincial capital, west of Fallujah. The explosives were hidden inside a bus, police officers and intelligence agents, were monitoring the bus and waited for the driver to drive the bus before capturing him few miles east of Fallujah.
Police also said that these explosives were meant to make hundreds of vest bombs to attack voters in the national elections on March 7.
Few hours later, police managed to destroy a parked car bomb near Fallujah bus station and another roadside bomb in west of Fallujah town of Falahat.

Good to know that good police work is going on in Iraq. I only hope the police do such good work everywhere in Iraq regardless of tribe, religion, sect, etc...

Thanks God these explosives were timely intercepted. But the problem of injustice persists in Iraq. This problem has been caused by the intransigency of the Shiite Parties, al-Sadr's included, to share the nation with the Kurds and the Sunnies! As I have always been saying: Iraq continues to be a bomb ready to go off. The situation will remain explosive until al-Sadr's and al-Maliki's Parties are reined in!
