Four about three years, we hear about the security strategy, the strategy that should provide safety for Iraq. The Iraqi security authorities (Ministry of Interior Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of National Security, The Political Council of National Security and The Iraqi National Intelligence, they all met many times and said that they had made plans and strategies to control violence and free killing of Iraqis.
During the last four months, four massive explosions happened in Baghdad claiming the lives of hundreds and wounded thousands. After each one of them, our officials used to come on TV, expressed their sorrow for the big loss, blame what they named (Baath Party and Qaeda) and talk about reviewing the security strategy.
As far as I know and since I spend at least 17 of my life in schools and university, to review means to re study deeply and accurately something to make it better and to fix any mistake in it.
After four bloody and brutal explosions, I wonder who has a strategy. Does our government have a security strategy or the enemy has a killing and destroying strategy????

Any time there are strongly polarized views, and an unwillingness to bridge the gaps, to find common ground, and to see humanity on both sides of the divides, the result is chaos and destruction, as each side feels their view, is worth dying for.
Those who subscribe to an ideology that must be imposed upon others, against their will, are on both sides of every division.

Until the Iraqi scurity bosses have the courage to capture the remaining Saddam loyalists and ultra-Baathists, the violence will continue like this. It amazes me that Iraqi citizens still harbor these gangsters.
