Hopefully the issue of the displaced Iraqis voting can be settled by the next elections this year. Patience is key in a new democracy, especially one born in such a ridiculous way. It is important and is the only way forward for any country.

Every other report I've read about the elections talks in glowing terms. But I guess they weren't as perfect as some people would like to portray...

We can have elections, we can have curfews, we can have rations, why can't we have census?
The blog entry talks about all kinds of horror which would not exist if we had census and proper ID's.
