For $3 each, or 4 for $10, you can almost get a complete collection: Palin with a rifle under "Read My Lipstick." Or Palin in a tank top cut way down, under the heading "Sarah Barracuda." There are buttons of Palin from her beauty queen days, urging people to vote for the "Hot Chick," and more formal pix of her under the saying "Country First," and almost any other saying you've heard on the trail.

It all works, said the vendors walking through the long lines at Hanoverton early Friday, where McCain was supposed to speak.

And the crowd loved it. "I like McCain because of who he picked as VP," said Rodney Haught, an unemployed clamp operator from Mechanicsville. "She seems real to me."
