Joe Biden had a little fun at his wife's expense Friday afternoon after she introduced him at a rally in suburban Dayton.
Bounding to the microphone after her lavish introduction, he told a packed high school field house in Kettering that being chosen as the vice presidential nominee was, indeed, an honor. But there was a side benefit he hadn't been aware of.
"I have never heard until this moment her say such wonderful things about me in public," Biden said. "In public! This is worth the trip, man."
from David Goldstein, Kansas City Star
Wonderful. Just in time to hear wonderful things from life-mate when still alive.

This is refreshing. It's much better than hearing the poor attacks of 'socialist,' 'terrorist pal,' and 'stupid.'
Of course President Obama can hear criticism, but there's no need to accept schoolyard taunts.
