Republicans are trying to parody Barack Obama's appearance last week in Berlin with a minute-long web video featuring actor-singer David Hasselhoff, a scene from "Titanic" and some comments from random folks.
Obama addressed an estimated 200,000 people in Berlin. In the video, At one point, Obama appears to be declaring himself "King of the World," just as Leonardo DiCaprio did in "Titanic." And the image of Hasselhoff, who is popular in Germany, appears.
Obama was in Washington Tuesday, meeting with members of Congress and others.

I'm still trying to figure out what the point of an Obama speech in Germany was...

what was Reagan speech in Berlin about?
you people make me want to puke sometimes.....zero objectivity...no brain at all? an idea has to be ideologically from the "right" for it to be a good idea. Hogwash!!! we have seen and experienced what 8 years of ideological suicide will do to a nation...

If you cannot understand that we need the support of our friends over sea you don't know much. Why has McCain been flying all over on his wifes jet to all these countries. He just wasn't smart enough to address the people in our allies. They are the ones that will back us

It's not surprising that McCain is attacking Obama's recent tour/speech abroad. "Attack!" is what his campaign does.
Obama is doing well to counter-punch (though there is more to punch) while at the same time setting the political table by speaking of issues on his own calender.
I figured McCain would get negative but I thought he'd wait a little longer. His wild swings are a measure of his desperation.
For those who criticize Obama's trip abroad: If Obama didn't go then you'd say, "He hasn't traveled abroad lately." If his Germany speech was sparsely attended, you'd say, "He [Obama] can't even get Europeans to listen to him." You'd attack regardless of what he did.
Attacking your opponent is part of campaigns, but so is bringing forth good ideas.
Campaign McCain is attacking for all it's worth right now, yet John still hasn't introduced a decent idea. If you say, "Drilling" it's only because the choices are so few and poor that there's little to choose from.
