A new fundraising gambit from Arizona Sen. John McCain: Contribute $150 to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's campaign, and get a signed hardcover copy of "Faith of My Fathers," his well-regarded and best-selling memoir.
That, of course, would be the "out-of-control spending" way to get the book that McCain ordinarily would rail against. The fiscally prudent thing would be to get it in paperback for $14.95 and ask McCain to sign it for free at a campaign appearance.
