Don't see anything new in Obama's approach to China.

The only has changed is that the US is in big trouble but China is not. US owes China money. In good times, these mmoney may not be much, but now that US is 5 trilion poorer and still counting, the 2 trillion Dollors US owes is really very big money.

Obama is trying to cheat by printing more money. The US is playing the biggest Ponzy game in history. Maybe that should be topic for the Strategic Dialog between the US and China.

In the short term. Whatever US does, nothing can replace US dollar as the world's currency reserve. Zhou xiaochuan's (Presendent of Central Bank of China) paper only warned US not to print money at-will. See being the largest debt holder, devaluing of US dollar means the China's wealth is also shrinking.
