The Chinese taikonauts are whirling around space. I soon will also be up in the ether, on a plane bound for Japan. I’m taking the next week off, which coincides with the Oct. 1 national holiday week in China. So no blog postings until I get back Oct. 4. See you then.

Don't fly to Japan on a civilian jetliner like a Boeing 767 or a 757!
You might be mistaken for a terrorists who want to fly into some building with the planes.
And about your habit of using your laptop in the departure lounge to play flight simulator...
Not to mention your devoted and frequent prayers to god at the airport...
If it is so tacky for a Japanese SDF plane to land in China delivering aid... it must be real tacky to have some bearded person like you getting on board one of these planes!
