Indeed, workers had loaded a sofa, several chests of drawers and two huge bookcases on the back of a flatbed, cargo-bearing tricycle.
Since then, we’ve always kept an eye out for the overloaded trike, bicycle, car, truck and other conveyances on the roads of China.
In that vein, here are some humorous photos that came my way. If you have any that can top these, send them my way and I'll post them.
And here's a fun one that has nothing to do with toting cargo. This fellow below seems to have an urgent meeting and is determined to get there no matter what.
China and India shares so many similarities, both Asian giants, both world's most populated countries and many others. But now these photos shows another kind of similarity they share.

IV drips are the common countryside remedy for most every illness and cold. It's common to see people walking around outside with them. Sometimes a friend is holding the jar or bag up.

Hi.. funny indeed. I've been in china for a long time and they can carry everything on their tri wheelers :)
With regards to the hospital man, this is not so funny.
The reason is that you have to pay for beds in hospitals, and you also have to pay for chairs to sit on. This guy propably only had money for medicine...it's often u see people outside hospitals with drops... they cannot / or do not want to pay for a chair or bed inside.

in china most of furniture shop often transport goods to consumer by tricycles if you buy a few from them.

In the US houses are moved on flatbed trucks - wonder how many tricycles that would be in China -??
